Job Descriptions-SC Manager 1.Report directly to MAG China President and Chief Supply Chain Officer in a regular base (weekly) or task oriented (sourcing, market research and statistical analysis report). 2.Maintain smooth communication channels with CSCO, Key Buyers from MAG global supply chain and MAG China top management to obtain solid and continuous support from top management assuring serve the MAG group efficiently. 3.Collect sourcing needs from all MAG BUs. 4.Develop and execute SCM China sourcing strategy for better support MAG BUs oversea and also domestic China. 5.Set up a unified sourcing team considering MAG's global souring strategy initiatives in and from China. 6.Maintain a team work environment that facilitates trust, creativity, team work, open communication and team member participation. 7.Set up a training plan for team members to advance their technical/commercial skills and abilities continuously on sourcing, commercial, quality, logistics and other supporting activities. 8.Set up a China supplier's data base frame for collecting MAG China suppliers' information; update the supplier data base regularly on MAG global SC Website. 9.Implement suppliers rating statistic yearly as to MAG suppliers rating score card. 10.Collect business related information in China market and make statistical analysis properly to provide value-added information to management. 11.Support and work closely with MAG Key Buyers on commodities sourcing, negotiation, quality assurance and supplier relation retention considering the big picture of MAG's sourcing initiatives in and from China. 12.Provide needed support on commodities procurement to sales and service personnel from MAG oversea BUs and domestic China BUs. 13.Support the process of transferring business into China and localizing the sourcing contents by closely co-operation with MAG SC peers. 14.Other urgent/temporary assignments from top management. Candidate Descriptions 1.8 years related practical work experience in the automotive industry or machine tools manufacturing (Purchasing experience in parts and components). 2.Familiar with parts process and basic metrology skills including ability to use coordinate measuring machine. 3.Strong business negotiation ability. 4.Excellent English spoken and written ability. 5.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6.Familiar with custing and welding technology, better with relating cost analysis experience. 7.Professional designation or working towards designation as Certified Purchasing Engineer. 8.Good competence in management and coordination. 9.Must be able to travel on short notice as required. |
